Vampelium Inc. Your data Back to your account

Your data

Everything on this page is about one account: yours. Each section says what it actually covers before you act on it, including the things this system does not hold at all.

Download a copy

A JSON file, built when you ask and sent straight to you.

Choose what to include
  • Your profile, sign-in history, connected apps, personal details and privacy settings, profile-picture and recovery-phrase metadata, ad preferences and blocks, and retained ad impressions. Personal details are decrypted for this download. Picture bytes and billing/payment records are not included.

  • Your account id, email address, username, display name, whether your email is verified, and when the account was created and last changed. Plus, if an email verification code is currently outstanding: when it was sent, when it expires, whether it has expired, and how many wrong guesses are recorded against it — never the code itself.

  • One entry per session on your account: the browser's user-agent string, the IP address recorded when that session started, when it started, when it was last used, when it expires, and which entry is the browser you are reading this in.

  • Every app you have authorised: its client id, its name and logo address, whether we built it, the exact permissions you granted, and the first and most recent time you granted them.

  • Personal details, visibility and cookie preferences, and picture and recovery-phrase metadata.

  • Ad preferences, advertiser and campaign blocks, and all retained impressions.

What is not in the file. No password hash, no session tokens and no verification codes. Picture bytes and billing/payment records are omitted from this download, even though the account can store pictures and billing details. View available billing records on your payments page when available, or contact privacy@vampemail.com for records omitted here.

Exports are limited to 15 an hour. Ad exports include all retained impressions.

Delete part of your data

Two things can be deleted on demand. Both are immediate and permanent.

What to delete
  • Deletes every session record except this browser's, which signs out every other device straight away. Your current session is deliberately left alone, so clearing your history does not look like a fault.

  • Deletes the consent you gave every app, revokes their refresh tokens so their access stops now rather than whenever those tokens would have expired, and deletes any authorisation code still in flight. Every app has to ask you again.

Checked again at the moment of deletion, not before it.

Those are the only two. The previous version of this page also offered "files" and "payment history". Neither deleted anything — there was nothing behind either of them — and both wrote a log entry saying they had. A delete button that lies is worse than no button at all, so they are gone. To delete the account itself, use your account page.

Ad personalisation

Off unless you switch it on.

While personalisation is off, your interests and your country are never read to choose an ad. That is not a promise about what we do with the result — the code that picks an ad never issues the query that reads them, so an opted-out request has nothing to ignore. You still see ads; they are just chosen without anything about you, and campaigns that target a country are skipped entirely rather than served blind.

Switching personalisation off also erases the interests you saved. They are not parked for later — keeping them would mean the profile outlived the only reason it was ever collected.

Advertisers and campaigns you have blocked

Ads you were shown

The last 90 days.

Each row is one ad served to this account. What was recorded is exactly this: which campaign, which slot it filled, whether personalisation was on at the time, when it was served, whether the browser confirmed it rendered, and whether you clicked it.

Loading your ad history…

No IP address and no location were recorded against any of these rows. Neither was a user agent, a referrer or the address of the page the ad appeared on. The client's IP address is never read on any ad route, so there is nothing stored to truncate or hash.

There is no button here that deletes this history, because there is no endpoint behind one. Rows are deleted 90 days after they were served, by a job that runs daily. "Why am I seeing this?" is worked out fresh from the interests you hold right now — nothing recorded what you held then.

Things this page will never show you

Because they are not collected, not because they are withheld.

The full field-by-field inventory, including what is kept indefinitely, is in the privacy notice.
